The University attaches utmost importance to placement services to the students. A full-fledged Training & Placement Directorate is established for management students to facilitate career guidance and improve their employability. The Directorate organises pre-placement training by professionals and arranges special coaching in personality development and communication skills.
GITAM enjoys patronage of several Multi National Corporations. GITAM’s high standards are well-recognized by many MNCs and other companies in IT, Banking and other fields across the country drawing them to conduct campus interviews on a large scale. A total of over 2000 students got placement through campus interviews during 2011-12, which is a record among the Universities in the State of Andhra Pradesh. Campus placements for the academic year 2012 -13 are in progress and expected to cross the earlier record.
